BMW USA Reports 24% Q3 2025 Sales Surge Led by X3, 7 Series
BMW USA has reported a robust third quarter in 2025, with total shipments surging by 24% to 96,886 units. This impressive growth was driven by strong performances from several models, particularly the BMW X3 and 7 Series.
The BMW X3 led the charge with a 37% increase in sales, resulting in 20,980 units delivered in Q3 2025. The luxury carmaker also saw a significant boost in the 7 Series, with a 59.5% increase to 2,824 cars sold in the same period. Notably, the BMW 5 Series (G60) experienced a remarkable 202.2% increase in sales, reaching 7,578 units.
On the other hand, the BMW iX faced a 33% drop in sales in Q3 2025, reflecting an overall 11.6% decline in demand for electric vehicles this year. The BMW X2, however, bucked this trend with a strong 163.9% increase in shipments to 1,863 cars, outselling the X4.
BMW USA's impressive Q3 2025 results were driven by the overall BMW brand, with notable contributions from the X3, 7 Series, and 5 Series (G60). Despite a decline in electric vehicle sales, the X2 demonstrated robust growth. Looking ahead, BMW will aim to maintain this momentum while addressing the challenges in the electric vehicle segment.
