Blackpoint Cyber Names Gagan Singh as New CEO, Partners with NinjaOne for Enhanced MSP Security
Blackpoint Cyber, a top provider of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services, has appointed Gagan Singh as its new CEO. Singh, with over two decades of executive leadership experience in cybersecurity and platform development, took the helm in June. Meanwhile, the company has formed a strategic partnership with NinjaOne to bolster cybersecurity for Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
The partnership, announced by Blackpoint Cyber's new CEO Gagan Singh, combines Blackpoint's MDR expertise with NinjaOne's cloud-native endpoint management platform. This integration aims to provide MSPs with enhanced visibility, security, and control over all endpoints in their IT estates. The collaboration seeks to deliver operational simplicity, enabling MSPs to rapidly detect and respond to threats, thereby creating more resilient IT environments.
NinjaOne's VP of strategy and operations, Erzan Uygur, commented on the partnership, expressing excitement about the combined strengths of both companies. Paul Redding, heading MSP partnerships at NinjaOne, also welcomed the collaboration, highlighting the potential benefits for MSPs.
With Gagan Singh at the helm, Blackpoint Cyber continues to fortify its position in the cybersecurity landscape. The partnership with NinjaOne, aimed at strengthening MSPs' cybersecurity, is expected to bring significant operational benefits and enhanced protection to IT estates managed by MSPs.
