Berlin-Lichtenberg's Big Three: 'Liese' Tower Completed, Office & Park Projects Underway
Berlin-Lichtenberg is witnessing a surge in development, with three major construction projects underway along the B1 federal highway. The 'Liese' residential tower, completed by HOWOGE, stands tall at 64 meters with 394 apartments, half of which are subsidized at entry-level rents. Meanwhile, the Scharfstein Group is building an office complex on Frankfurter Allee, and the 'Van Caem Park' project is set to provide space for around 3,600 workstations.
The 'Liese' tower, located near the eight-lane Lichtenberg Bridge, offers excellent public transportation connections with several S-Bahn, tram, and regional transport links nearby. HOWOGE has completed this tower with 394 apartments, half of which are subsidized by the state of Berlin at rents starting at €6.50 per square meter.
Across the road, the Scharfstein Group is realizing an office building with up to 18,000 square meters of office space on Frankfurter Allee. Meanwhile, the 'Van Caem Park' project, a joint venture between the Dutch realtor Van Caem and the developer Prea Group, is planned on a site of approximately 39,000 square meters on Buchberger Straße. This project will provide space for around 3,600 workstations and is planned to be completed in 36 months with an investment of around €500 million.
With the completion of the 'Liese' residential tower and the ongoing construction of the office building and 'Van Caem Park' project, Berlin-Lichtenberg is set to see an influx of new residents and workers. These developments are expected to boost the local economy and transform the area.
