BC PNP Issues 485 ITAs in October 2 Draws, Boosting 2025 Total
On October 2, the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held draws under its Skills Immigration and Entrepreneur Immigration categories, issuing a total of 485 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination.
The BC PNP's Skills Immigration category was the focus of the first draw since May 8, 2025. A total of 474 invitations were issued to candidates meeting specific criteria. Applicants needed to earn a minimum wage of $90/hour or $175,000/year, or score at least 140 points based on the BC PNP's scoring system.
Future Skills Immigration draws may consider additional factors such as education, professional designation, language proficiency, occupation, work experience, wage and/or skill level of job offer, intent to live and work in a specific region, and strategic priorities. Meanwhile, the Entrepreneur Immigration category saw 11 invitations issued through its Base Stream, requiring a minimum registration score of 115, personal net worth of at least $600,000, and an investment of $200,000 in the business.
This week's BC PNP draws have resulted in a significant increase in ITAs, with 568 issued through Skills Immigration and 86 through Entrepreneur Immigration categories so far this year. The program continues to support economic growth and job creation in British Columbia by attracting skilled workers and entrepreneurs.
