Here in Tomsk, city administration plans to invest 2.7 billion rubles for the realization of national projects in 2025, as Mayor Dmitriy Mahiny shared in the annual city administration report on Tuesday.

Previously, it was reported that Tomsk region had started participating in the realization of 12 different national projects since 2019. As of 2025, the Russian government decided to revise existing projects and launch a few new ones such as "Family," "Active and Healthy Aging," "Human Capital," "Data Economy," and "Youth of Russia." In 2024, Tomsk region received a total of 15 billion rubles for the implementation of national projects, with over 10 billion coming from the federal budget [1].

"Starting in 2025, work is underway in the city for renewed national projects. In the current year, 2.7 billion rubles is allocated for events related to their realization on city territory," Mahiny explained, adding that Tomsk is involved in the realization of seven national projects [2].

According to Mahiny, between 2019 and 2024, almost 20 billion rubles were allocated for the realization of national projects in Tomsk. As per the mayor's presentation, for every ruble in the city budget in 2024, 3.9 rubles were attracted from the regional and federal budgets [3].
