One of the key initiatives is the upgraded Audi Roadside Assistance (RSA) program. Now, Audi buyers and, under certain conditions, existing customers can avail of this service. The program offers 24/7 emergency support on Indian national and state highways, as well as other roads within the mainland.
The enhanced RSA program includes a process for service requests via WhatsApp and email communications from dealers. In addition, it offers a range of services such as towing, lockout service, battery jump-start, fuel delivery, and flat tire assistance. Moreover, in cases taking over 72 hours for repairs and the vehicle is more than 100 km from the owner's home base, the program includes accommodation or travel assistance.
Audi's extended warranty programs also see an upgrade, providing additional mechanical and electrical coverage after the original factory warranty expires. These programs are available for new and used Audi vehicles, with plans protecting against sudden and unexpected failures of covered parts. Audi offers multiple coverage levels, including Essentials, Standard, and Plus, offering comprehensive protection.
The extended warranty typically offers 12 months of coverage per purchased extension, with the ability to upgrade to multi-year coverage. Coverage is based on mechanical and electrical components, subject to terms, and ranges from named components to all-component coverage. It excludes damage from neglect or misuse and typically requires maintenance per Audi's recommendations for coverage validity.
Pricing for the extended warranty starts from about ₹3,999 to ₹8,000, depending on the vehicle's age and the duration of coverage selected. It's essential to note that new vehicles come with a 3-year/60,000-mile factory warranty and can be upgraded to extended warranties at purchase.
