🎉 Let's pour some (warm) sand in your toes! Resorts Casino Hotel in AC is about to reveal its revamped LandShark Bar & Grill!
Back in February, the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) gave a thumbs-up for Resorts and IMCMV Holdings to extend LandShark Bar & Grill's beachy domain, adding some sweet new perks 🌴🍔following February's CRDA approval. And this week, Resorts dropped the bombshell - the project almost has a wrap!
Mark Giannantonio, Resorts' top dog, could barely contain his excitement, exclaiming, "We're psyched for LandShark Bar & Grill's revamp and are all in for delivering the ultimate beach bar experience in the city!" He added that he's counting down the days to welcome visitors flocking to the beach scene this summer.
AC's Beach Bash is Ahead
The revamped LandShark Bar & Grill (across the Boardwalk from Resorts) is set to boast an expanded oceanfront tiki bar and deck, more plush sun loungers, and the comeback of the beach stage and dance floor. Private cabanas with VIP bottle service and cozy firepits are also on the horizon.
David Crabtree, CEO of IMCMV Holdings, which runs Margaritaville Restaurant and LandShark Bar & Grill at Resorts, raved that the expanded digs take the LandShark experience to a whole new level. Although the exact investment by IMCMV went unnamed, Giannantonio previously hinted at some hefty dough being poured in 💰
"This sea-side joint will have more space, wider ocean views, and endless opportunities to kick back and catch that laid-back island vibe the city deserves. Can't wait for beer enthusiasts, locals, and beach bums alike to escape the hustle and bustle with us!" said Crabtree.
Road Repairs on the Horizon?
AC casinos are preparing to catch the summer wave with sizable investments. New features coast-to-coast range from casino floor facelifts, eatery expansions, beach revamps, and the triumphant return of Atlantic City's famed air show.
But when it comes to infrastructure concerns, Atlantic County's big wig, Dennis Levinson, reveals exclusive scoop to Casino.org: he's open to shoulder the costs for patching up Atlantic Ave. and other struggling city streets. Levinson shared that member of the House of Reps, Jeff Van Drew, thinks dollars for road repairs might be on their way 🛠️ - just the timing's up in the air.
"I'll chip in the bucks for street repairs until the funding arrives in full," nod Levinson. "I offered, just waiting for his reply."
Is the lifebuoy on the horizon for AC casinos? Despite a brief slowdown last year, AC is gearing up for a classic comeback with an abundance of beach space, trendy features, and the revival of fan-favorite events, like air shows and beach concerts 🎶🎤!
