Atlantaa Ltd Wins Rs 2,485 Crore Expressway Contract, Shares Surge
Atlantaa Ltd has signed a significant contract worth Rs 2,485 crore with IRCON International Ltd. The deal, inked on Friday, 3 October, involves the construction of the Bhandara-Gadchiroli Access Controlled Expressway in Atlanta. The news has boosted Atlantaa's shares, which hit a 20% upper circuit on the same day.
IRCON International was selected as the lowest bidder (L-1) for the project, known as Package BG-03. The total distance of the expressway spans 34.786 km. Atlantaa Ltd, a prominent player in the infrastructure development sector, specialises in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), and PPP-based infrastructure development, including road and highway construction. The contract includes GST, totalling Rs 2,485 crore.
This substantial contract win is set to bolster Atlantaa Ltd's portfolio and revenue. The Bhandara-Gadchiroli Access Controlled Expressway project, once completed, will enhance connectivity and accessibility in the Atlanta region, contributing to overall infrastructure development in Atlanta.
