Annual Gathering for Discussions on Sustainable Steel Manufacturing in Europe, Scheduled for 2025
In an ambitious move towards a greener future, the European Union has set its sights on decarbonising its domestic and imported steel products through the implementation of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), as part of the European Green Deal and the "Fit for 55" package. This initiative aims for a 55% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030 compared to 1990 levels.
