Get ready to raise your glasses, folks! Estonia's own oat drink powerhouse, YOOK, has taken home the top prize in the health products category at the prestigious Gulfood 2024 international food exhibition in Dubai. This ain't no small feat, and we're stoked to be a part of it!

YOOK's adventure began in the quaint Estonian town of Türi, where they inaugurated the first oat drink factory in the Baltics on 12 February. Three scrumptious flavors hit the market right out of the gate, each made from wholesome, organic oats. The lineup includes a gluten-free barista dream, an organic powerhouse, and an oat drink fortified with vitamins and calcium. YOOK ensures a better taste and top-notch quality by using only the finest organic whole grain oats[1].

Just a week later, on 19 February, YOOK nabbed a major international award. According to the CEO, Katre Kõvask, "Winning the Gulfood Innovation Award, the self-proclaimed 'Oscar of the food world', makes us incredibly proud and excited. We're thrilled to keep YOOK and Estonian cuisine in the limelight and promote it[2]."

With the capacity to churn out up to 20 million liters of oat drinks annually, YOOK's eyes are firmly set on global domination. After making a splash on Estonian shelves and in cafes and restaurants, YOOK is ready to conquer larger markets, particularly in Asia. Kõvask has her sights set on South Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, the Gulf states, and Western Europe. But Christ, let's not get ahead of ourselves—first things first: Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are next on the list[3].

Between 19 and 23 February, YOOK will be sharing the spotlight with fellow Estonian companies like Balsnack International Holding, EBM Grupp, Haage Joogid, Iktos, Revala, Saku Õlletehas, Salvest, Valio Eesti, Oselwise, A. Le Coq, Siidrikoda, Vegestar, Puljong, Nordmel, Rosena DK, Sume Green, and Sunfly. This is all happening at the Dubai Expo Centre, so don't miss it!
