AegisAI Emerges from Stealth, Secures $13M for AI-Driven Email Security
AegisAI, a startup specialising in enterprise email security, has emerged from stealth mode. It has secured $13 million in seed funding led by Accel and Foundation Capital. The company's platform integrates with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, offering enhanced protection against phishing and malware.
AegisAI's platform uses an orchestrated system of autonomous AI agents to inspect and neutralise threats in real time. It analyses all message components, including links, attachments, metadata, QR codes, and behavioural patterns. This approach has shown significant improvements in detection accuracy and operational efficiency, reducing false positives by up to 90% compared to traditional solutions.
The $13 million seed round will be used to accelerate product development, expand engineering resources, and support go-to-market efforts. AegisAI has already seen success in pilot phases with customers in the fintech and technology sectors.
AegisAI's integration with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, along with its advanced AI-driven threat detection, positions it to strengthen enterprise email security. With the backing of Accel and Foundation Capital, the company is poised to grow and expand its offerings.
