Adidas initially announced potential job cuts totalling up to 500 positions at their German headquarters. Affected employees were offered severance packages as part of a plan to decrease complexity and boost efficiency. Gulden confirmed this intention, stating that before, there were business models with functions that were replicated or even multiplied.
