Accenture Song's Droga5 Appoints Mark Green as New Global CEO
Accenture Song's creative agency Droga5 has appointed Mark Green as its new global CEO, effective October 2024. Green will relocate to New York City and work alongside global chief creative officer Pelle Sjoenell to oversee all Droga5 creative offices worldwide.
Green, currently the co-founder and CEO of Australia-based creative agency The Monkeys, will succeed Sarah Thompson in the global CEO role. He will also step down as the Accenture Song Australia and New Zealand lead, with his successor to be announced later.
Droga5 plans to expand internationally by integrating The Monkeys under its umbrella. Starting December 1, The Monkeys' offices in Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney will become part of Droga5. This integration aims to give local clients greater access to Droga5's creative power and Accenture Song's tech, design, and data capabilities. Droga5's client roster includes prominent names such as JPMorgan Chase, Molson Coors, and Tourism Australia.
Mark Green's appointment as global CEO of Droga5 signals a new era for the agency. With the integration of The Monkeys, Droga5 looks to strengthen its global presence and offer enhanced services to its clients. The new Australia and New Zealand lead of Accenture Song will be announced in due course.
